Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has surpassed more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
